Since 2000, the number of Turkish students attending U.S. universities has grown exponentially, landing Turkey among the top ten feeder countries. In 2012-13, the U.S. had an influx of over 11,000 students from Turkey, with the majority seeking graduate degrees. Join us as we explore this emerging market in international recruitment and examine secondary and post-secondary education systems in Turkey, including academic programs and documentation standards.

Maedeh Asadzadeh, Credential Evaluator at World Education Services
Maedeh Asadzadeh has more then two years experience in evaluating international credentials and specializes in the educational systems of Middle Eastern countries. Her areas of expertise include: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE. She is fluent in French and Persian and has working knowledge of Arabic. Maedeh holds a master’s degree in International Relations and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the City University of New York.
