Webinar Description:
International students are part of the rapid expansion in public health program enrollment, increasing by 67 percent from 2000 to 2012. However, this growth has been slower than that of domestic students, and enrollments are disproportionate across institutions. This webinar supports schools and programs of public health with the knowledge to develop and enhance intentional international recruitment strategies rooted in a deeper understanding of student mobility trends and segments. The findings presented are the results of WES’ survey of U.S.-bound master’s degree-seeking international students, published in the April issue of World Education News & Reviews (WENR) [2]. The webinar will be especially useful for deans, directors, or program heads who want to enrich their strategic international enrollment management toolkit.
Topics:
- Understand current mobility patterns and near-term forecast of international students pursuing public health degrees in the U.S.
- Discern the profile, motivations, information needs and behavior of U.S.-bound international students seeking master’s degrees in public health.
- Adopt actionable strategies to attract best-fit international students to your school or program of public health.
Registration is limited to participants representing colleges or universities.
